LASTING PEACE

Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. @ Corn. 13:11

Have you found the lasting peace that can and should be yours through Christ Jesus? Or are you still chasing the illusion of peace and happiness that the world promises but cannot deliver. The words of John 14:27 promise that Jesus offers peace, not as the world gives, but as He alone gives. The challenge is to accepts Christs peace in your heart so you can share it with others. But sometimes that is easier said than done with how busy our lives are and that we worry. We worry about safety, money, home, family, and the list can go on and on. Some worries are great and some are small. Where is the best place to take your worries? Take them to God...and leave them there. Today as a gift to yourself, to your family, and to your friends, claim the peace that is from Christ Jesus. Christ is waiting patiently for him to reign over our hearts.

Prayer: Dear Lord , let me accept the peace that you offer through your son. You are the giver of all things and you give me peace. Help me to trust your will, to follow you and accept your peace today and forever. Help me not to worry about things big or small. Let me take all things to you and leave them there. Amen
